Speed Star Shaun Tait Joins Peshawar Zalmi

Sometime luck matters the most and the recent time is much lucky for both Shaun Tait as well as the Peshawar team.

Australian speed gun who was recently selected for the 3 T20 matches against India has now made a contract with Peshawar Zalmi team. Peshawar team after un availability of Chris Jordan due to south Africa tour has selected Liam Plunkett but he was also selected for the English team in place of injured Steven Finn. After that Peshawar Zalmi has contacted the Pace battery Shaun Tait from Australia and now made a contract with him so he will play for Peshawar Zalmi team. The news is officially verified from the PSL Facebook page.

Shaun Tait who retired from international cricket since 2011 will make a comeback in Australian side as well as now he will be in action for the PSL team Peshawar Zalmi team who will be led by Shahid Afridi. The News about his selection for Peshawar team was also verified from his official twitter account.

Shaun Tait has played 32 international matches and now after a Fresh and Successful Big Bash tournament where he took 10 wickets with an average of 24.70. He can be helpful for the national team as well as can be an asset for the Peshawar team.

The Zalmi squad is rich is Fast bowling department with pacers like Wahab Riaz and Junaid Khan already in squad. On Wednesday it was made official by the owner of Peshawar team Javed Afridi who posted it on Facebook as well as twitter about the contract of Shaun Tait with Peshawar Zalmi team.

Shaun Tait is in his recent interview said that

“I’ve felt my control has got better over the last couple of years but I’m there to try and bowl fast and as soon as I’m starting to bowl in the 130s there’s not much point in me playing.”

Peshawar Zalmi owner and CEO of Haier group Javed Afridi said that it will a boost for our bowlers to share Dressing room with such quality fast bowlers like Shaun Tait, Wahab Riaz as well as Junaid Khan.
